The general objective of the project: The general objective of the project is the development of an innovative, complex, highly technical product, with utility in the field of night and day surveillance, within the company Silicon Acuity.

The specific objectives of the project:

  1. Realization of the mechanical and electrical execution documentation and of the control software application for the product High resolution thermal and day vision system – HD-VIEW.
    This involves the writing of the execution documentation (documentation for the case and the internal clamps, the documentation for the command panel, the documentation for the related video systems, electrical documentation (cables for internal and external connections – view system – control panel -) and documentation for the software applications (video processing software and command).
    Results: Mechanical, electrical and software applications documentation.
  2. Execution of an approved prototype for a complex product – HD-VIEW.
    Within the project, a complex high-resolution day and night surveillance system will be developed (min. 1024×768 pixels), with image fusion, consisting of an HD thermal camera and an HD visible camera, which will be integrated in a case and will be controlled via the software from the external control panel. Within the project the electronic video processing board will be manufactured and the related software will be developed, and both will be integrated into the HD-VIEW system.
    Results: An approved HD-VIEW prototype.
  3. Development of the technology of assembly and verification of the functional requirements of the HD-VIEW system.
    Results:

    1. Assembly and verification technology implemented.
    2. HD-VIEW product series 0 will be assembled.
